Wande Coal’s second studio album taggedWanted is finally going to arrive in 3 days, October 26th after SEVEN (7) years of releasing his widely acclaimed album Mushin 2 Mo’Hits.
Adrenaline is high among Wande Coal fans and most especially in the music industry. 36NG Team have pointed out 7 things they expect from Wanted when it finally arrives.
We are curious
We are as curious as every other Wande Coalfan out there because Wande Coal’s career has been up and down since his nude photo scandal years ago. His music has also been haphazard.
Wande Coal will be releasing his Wantedalbum under his relatively small record labelBlack Diamond Entertainment. We are curious to see how much man power he has on his team to push his album as much as a “big” record label would having released his debut album in the then biggest label in Africa, Mo’Hits. How will he handle the shows, promotions, P.R, marketing and industry relations all by himself? Much is not known about Black Diamond Entertainment.
Most especially we are looking forward seeing how much Wande Coal has progressed after splitting with Don Jazzy, the man behind his acclaimed debut album
We don’t expect the album to be better than its predecessor
While we have high hopes for Wande Coaland his work, we are not getting our hopes too high. It is a common event for artistes globally not to progress from their most successful projects and we are afraid Wande Coal might land in this category.
Wande Coal will be missing the Don Jazzy and D’Banj (and Mo’Hits) effect on hisWanted album especially in the area of promotion and reach.
We don’t expect Wanted to be better than the Mushin 2 Mo’Hits project but we at least expect Wande Coal to give us the best album of 2015… At the very least..
