What is even more terrifying is that helpless relatives were crying and screaming while watching their children drown and disappear from their view. Local authorities started a huge search operation and their bodies were recovered later that evening.

In a statement written by Bonheur’s mother she said: “My boy was a very good child heavily involved in the local community and the church. He was very good at school and one day hoped to become a lawyer. This is a tragedy and it is devastating.”
